Jacksons Restaurant Guide 2001 - 2003
This website contains reviews of visits to restaurants, pubs, hotels and cafes in the UK and France and is intended to highlight the less desirable establishments as well as the good ones we have experienced. After finding that customers were often treated with indifference, rudeness and on occasion, disdain, the idea for this website was born. It is also heartening to find that there are places where our custom is valued and that the personal touch remains. We visit different types of restaurants and comment on the individual quality and service provided, we do not compare them to each other, except where they are part of a large chain. Unlike some review sites, no money is paid to be included on this site, therefore the visits are recorded as experienced by ourselves rather than to reflect the views of the management. We are a family who simply enjoy eating out and finding new places to try,and through sharing our experiences, hope to enhance the pleasure of other like-minded people.
