A good choice of French cuisine, clean, friendly service,
just off the main road as you drive into Calais town centre.
This was our first visit to Au Fin Palais and we were
pleased with what we found.It was lunchtime on a Saturday, there were
plenty of other diners here, English and French. The food was plentiful
and very good. The waitress was friendly and spoke English. Pleasant
surroundings and a pair of budgies in a cage which added to the atmosphere.
There are several set menus at different prices, and also a la carte
if you are not so hungry.
Some of the customers seemed to have been there before, and we would
be happy to return, and recommend it to anyone visiting Calais.
